Christian Based Selling
There is no exact prayer to receive salvation. It is something you pray from your own heart. We receive salvation as a gift of grace and mercy when we receive Jesus into our heart as our Lord and repent of our sins. As Christians we believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was raised three days later. Once you have said a prayer of these things, listen and watch for signs of God working in your life and leading you on your exciting new journey!
Here is an example of what you could pray:
Jesus, I have been living life my way. I now want to live my life for you and I pray that you enter my heart. Your son Jesus Christ died on the cross so that I can be forgiven for my sins. I am grateful for your love and mercy. I surrender to you and pray that your will be done in my life. Amen.
If you just got saved congratulations on making the most important decision of your life! I want to welcome you as a new brother or sister to the body of Christ! As a next step, seek out Christian friends who can help you on your journey.
Below is scripture on salvation. You can explore further in your Bible. Enjoy!
John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
John 14:16
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Acts 16:30-33
"Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family."
