Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Christian Based Selling:

​We get emotionally attached to deals we want to win. We fight to keep our job when not enough deals have gone our way despite our best efforts. As sales professionals we walk a high wire act filled with both risk and reward. It is easy to feel that there is no safety net below us. However, if we trust in the Lord, work hard and honor Jesus in our words and actions then we are on His path for us. How can we worry about the road ahead if we put our trust in God?

Since I gave my life to Christ just six years ago I've learned to let go and let God lead. Shortly thereafter he removed a wife (divorce) and a job from my life. I felt my life was crumbling but I did not forsake God. I actually would talk to and laugh with God saying, "Really?! This is what you want for me???" I had thought by turning my life over to Him that He would fix things as I wanted them to be.

It was a difficult time but my world did not cease to exist and I was excited that God was in the driver's seat. It didn't matter what I thought of His plan for me, I was happy to be walking with Him for the first time in my life. Soon my life blossomed in new ways both professionally and personally. In hindsight I see that those changes needed to occur for me to evolve in the ways I needed. The journey continues and I'm filled with a passion for life and work like never before.
