Proverbs 29:20

Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Christian Based Selling:

In professional sales the last thing we want to do is speak without truly understanding what is being asked of us.  When a prospective client asks a challenging question or throws out an unexpected objection we need to stay calm and first consider what is at the heart of the concern.  It is always good to ask a qualifying question before responding, such as "Why is that important to you?"  We want to gain additional context to ensure we understand the real meaning of the question.    It also buys us time to formulate our best  response.

Are you taking time to ensure you are really listening to and hearing your prospects?  Are you responding in a thoughtful manner or providing a scripted answer?
