Proverbs 20:4

The sluggard does not plow in the autumn; he will seek at harvest and have nothing.

Christian Based Selling:

We face so much pressure in sales that when we close the big deal we feel a big weight come off our shoulders.  We feel grateful that we've been blessed with a new client that contributes to our good standing within our organization.   We may also be tempted to take a breather and coast for a bit.

However, if we have been tied up in closing activities for one or more major deals for a number of weeks then we may not have had the time or mental bandwidth to continue prospecting or managing our pipeline.   We need to get back to the hard work of prospecting to open new doors and moving opportunities through the sales process.

We certainly need to enjoy our victories!   However, we also need to change gears to get back into the mindset of working the soil that leads to the bountiful harvest.

How do you get back to prospecting after the  euphoric high of a big win?
