"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

Christian Based Selling:

If we allow our success to go to our head then we are not living our Christian values.  Our arrogance will distance us from God and most likely from our colleagues, friends and family.   

As I've shared in previous posts, a sales career will inevitably have highs and lows.  I have found it important to enjoy your successful periods but never to lose your sense of urgency about finding and closing the next deal.  The organization may "exalt" you for your success--don't buy into the hype and be sure to credit your pursuit team colleagues who were undoubtably critical to the victory.  

We need to be consistent in the focus and passion we bring to what needs to be done each day no matter if sales are up or down.  We must always be thankful to God for our success.
