Ecclesiastes 2:24 

There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God.

Happy Friday!  As professional sales people we work hard and overcome many challenges to succeed.  We've explored on this blog how important it is to enjoy our work because, among other benefits, it manifests in an infectious presence with prospective clients.   Ecclesiastes 2:24 tells us it is also important to live life and enjoy the good things God has given us.  My interpretation of "eat and drink" is that God wants us to enjoy sharing the experience of food and drink with family and friends. Of course God does not want us to choose an unhealthy lifestyle and if you find yourself drinking or eating as an escape, I encourage you to discuss this with a trusted member of your church or Pastor to find a path to a healthier you.   

God makes it clear that it is important for us to step away from our work and recharge our batteries on the weekend.  If you have weekend work, pick a time that you will get it done.  Until that time comes, free your mind of work and be sure to make time to enjoy life's blessings with friends and family.  When Monday rolls around you will be revitalized and ready to make it happen!
